A week into my onboarding at BARK, and I’m more energized than ever to dive into driving subscriber retention. When considering my next role, it was essential for me to join an organization whose mission and values aligned with my own — one where I wasn’t just a passionate customer, but where I truly believed in what the company stands for. As someone who openly admits that my dog is 90% of my personality, BARK’s mission to make all dogs happy feels deeply personal to me. A huge thank you to everyone who’s been helping me get up to speed and for all the insightful, passionate conversations. I’ve been blown away by the innovation, ambition, creativity, and dedication of the team, all united by that shared mission. On a personal note, Coconut (my dog, aka my "son") got his first employee BarkBox this weekend and had an absolute blast visiting the office. It’s been so fun watching him interact with his new toys and reflecting on the why and how behind what brings him joy. It’s a great reminder of the happiness we’re creating for dogs, and I’m thrilled to be part of a team so passionate about making that happen!
