CFOs & Finance Directors of Large Organisations: Claim Back Significant Fees on Commercial Card Transactions 💳 BB Merchant Services, in partnership with Harcus Parker Limited law firm, is supporting a landmark claim against Visa and Mastercard over commercial card fees that have been significantly higher than consumer card fees for many years. If your organisation accepted Mastercard or Visa commercial card payments in the UK between June 2016 and June 2022, this could be a major opportunity to recover substantial overpaid fees. 📌What You Need to Know: Fully Funded and Insured: This action is 100% funded, meaning no upfront costs for businesses to join, and it’s fully insured, so there’s no financial risk involved in participating. Opt-In Requirement for Large Organisations: For companies with a £100m+ annual turnover globally between 2016 and 2019, you must actively opt-in to be part of the claim and secure your eligibility for any awarded damages. Smaller businesses will be automatically included, although they’re encouraged to register to facilitate any future payouts. The Scale of Opportunity: Commercial cards typically attract fees of 1.3% to 2%, which is much higher than capped consumer card fees. While these cards may form a smaller proportion of your transactions, their higher value means the costs quickly add up. This claim aims to recover the difference between these higher commercial card fees and what you could have paid under capped rates, potentially covering 10+ years of transactions. Even if your organisation previously settled consumer card fee claims, you may still qualify for a substantial payout on commercial card fees alone. Potential for Earlier Payout: Bench Walk, the funder for this case, may offer an early payout for up to 49% of an individual claim’s value. This provides large organisations with the option of accessing part of their claim value ahead of the full settlement, giving you flexibility and financial relief sooner rather than later. Why Act Now? This is a rare chance for larger organisations to recoup a decade’s worth of excess fees that often go unnoticed. Claimants must opt-in by 10 February 2025 to be eligible, but the process takes just a few minutes. 🔗 Register your interest and secure your claim eligibility today. #interchange #merchantservices #visa #mastercard #cardpayments

This is an important piece of news to share with my network. All organisations with global turnover in excess of £100m, that traded in the UK between 2016 and 2019, and who accepted Visa/Mastercard commercial card transactions from their customers should read this post and opt in to the class action claimant group to receive a payout. All industries and sectors are included. No downside risk whatsoever. As the case is fully insured. No upfront costs as the case is fully funded. Part of a huge group, where you are anonymous. Takes only a few minutes to register via the online registration portal. Inaction will result in your company unfortunately being excluded from the group putting it bluntly. I can’t stress strongly enough how valuable this action will be for every company who registers. Deadline to register is 10th Feb 2025. Happy to brief anyone with any queries after reading the post and attachments. Register here: https://lnkd.in/eH5SbSGP All businesses operating in the UK with average turnover less than £100m are automatically included. But it’s the larger organisations I worry about who may miss out through lack of awareness leading up to the deadline. At BB Merchant Services we have a strong and deep track record of helping firms globally with these claims against Visa and Mastercard, but this is the first class action centred around the much more expensive and unregulated commercial card types. Finally, for any company who has missed out on previous payouts for personal card historic overcharging, feel free to reach out too as we have one final opportunity to receive a payout. For the thousands of companies who have already received payouts (or are about to) you know the benefit of being part of this type of claimant group already. But if your previous claim excluded commercial cards, you may still be able to benefit, so please check with us. Don't miss this one. We're introducing merchants to this mammoth Class Action to reclaim fees for alleged overcharging from Visa & Mastercard. It's free to join, and your business will be represented in court (no court appearances or admin required). We won't see another class action like this for at least 6 years. If your revenue is over £100m (approx AU$200m) globally per annum, you need to bend down and pick up the money - unlike under £100m (AU$200m) businesses, which are automatically opted in for this lawsuit. Feel free to reach out to myself or BB Merchant Services - Australia 🇦🇺 with any questions. We are also scheduling regular calls with the lawyers to explain the case further and answer questions from merchants. Get in touch to be included. Payouts expected in 2026. It takes around 2 minutes to register your interest - no commitment at this stage: 🔗 https://lnkd.in/gYqreiNH (deadline: 10th February 2025) #HarcusParker #ClassAction #BenchWalkAdvisors #BBMerchantServices #Mastercard #Visa #Interchange
