Calling all civil servants! Nominations for 2025's Women in Westminster: The 100 close next Friday, 1st November.   Are there any female civil servants you feel should be on The 100? If so, please submit a nomination via https://lnkd.in/eD3F886v to ensure they are not missed off the list for our patrons to consider.   Your nomination should cover the period from November 2023-November 2024 and the criteria are below:   *Setting up a high impact campaign or playing a part in enacting notable legislation *Making a distinctive, unusual, and/or innovative contribution in their field *Ability and willingness to act as a role model to others *An unsung contribution to the culture of Westminster or Whitehall *Shifting the dial of public opinion

The Russell 3000 companies headquartered in Colorado have 29% of their board positions held by women. This is getting close to the 30% for Russell 3000 companies throughout the United States. Thanks to 50/50 Women on Boards and Equilar for providing this analysis quarterly.

The 2024 Female FTSE Board report, produced by Cranfield School of Management, is live. Although companies are meeting targets for women directors on boards, the number of women in key executive positions in the FTSE 250 has fallen. Professor Susan Vinnicombe and Dr. Michelle Tessaro say that there's an 'executive gender paradox' - as the gap between the number of women in NED roles and executive roles grows. Important data out this week on women on FTSE boards, revealing that despite overall progress, women still aren't being appointed or promoted to the key exec decision-making roles in the C-suite - in fact this year it's gone into reverse in the FTSE 250. Read the report 👇
