3 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘼𝙩𝙤𝙢𝙞𝙘 𝙃𝙖𝙗𝙞𝙩𝙨 (𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗜 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗺) When I picked up 𝘈𝘵𝘰𝘮𝘪𝘤 𝘏𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘵𝘴 by James Clear, I thought, “Oh great, another book telling me to do better.” But surprisingly, it didn’t preach—it gave me practical steps to make real changes. Here are 3 takeaways that truly stuck and how I put them to work: 1️⃣ 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗦𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹, 𝗪𝗶𝗻 𝗕𝗶𝗴 I learned that big changes start with tiny steps. Instead of overhauling my morning routine, I started with 𝘰𝘯𝘦 small habit: drinking water before ☕. It sounds minor, but it’s a daily win that reminds me I’m in control. 2️⃣ 𝗛𝗮𝗯𝗶𝘁 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀 𝗪𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 James introduced me to “habit stacking”—linking a new habit to one I already do. After responding to my first email each morning, I now take 5 minutes to plan my top priorities for the day. That tiny habit has saved me from chasing tasks all day long! 3️⃣ 𝗙𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀, 𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗚𝗼𝗮𝗹𝘀 Goals are great, but systems are what keep us moving. Instead of saying, “I’ll stay organized,” I created a system: clearing my desk at the end of each day. A tidy desk = a clear mind. Simple, but powerful. These small habits compound over time, and the results are showing up in my work and life. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, remember: start small, stay consistent, and trust the process. What small habits have made a difference for you? I’d love to hear your thoughts. #20DayLinkedInShowUpChallengeWithNwanyieze #AtomicHabits #LessonsLearned #SmallStepsBigWins #ProfessionalGrowth #HabitBuilding #ProgressNotPerfection #VirtualAssistants #ExecutiveAssistant #ContinuousImprovement #VAByMariam

You know how you start one task and then it leads you down the rabbit hole of like 10 other tasks? Or what about the those tasks that just seem so enormous you don't know how you can ever find the time to finish? Maybe you struggle with getting started in the first place. Whatever your issues is - the key to moving forward is to identify where you get stuck and look for solutions around that. 🤯 Maybe it is about silencing notifications at specifics times of the day so that you don't get distracted and so that you can set limits and expectations for yourself and others. Maybe you just need a timer! ⏲ Timers can help you stay on track when you are doing a singular task so you don't fall down the rabbit hole - give your self 10 minutes to tidy up the kitchen counter - and even if something needs to go into a different room - keep on going with the counter till that is done, then you can put away the other items. Maybe you need someone to be accountable to and to guide you through how to get a task done because you just aren't sure how to make it all happen... if that sounds like you - get unstuck from your distractions—join a session and let’s get you unstuck! A single piece of paper keeps me accountable for my entire day. 📝 Journaling my next day, hour by hour, has completely transformed how on stay on track and feel productive. Every night before bed, I journal everything I want to accomplish the next day: • What time will I wake up? • What will I have for breakfast? • When am I gonna engage on LinkedIn? • When will I work on my clients’ projects? • When will I climb my 150 stairs? • When will I skip rope? • When will I pray? I time-block even the smallest tasks, like reading my tasbeeh. This nighttime routine helps me unwind, and get rid of any lingering stress. The next morning? I know everything is planned, all I have to do is act on it. Simple as that. Of course, there are days when I miss a time block or don’t show up as planned. But I don’t let that derail the rest of my day. I just shift the missed task as a priority item for the next day - no guilt. I’ve only been doing this for nine days, but I already feel more accountable and focused. My productivity and mental clarity have improved so much in such a short time. I challenge you to try time-blocking for a week. See how it impacts your productivity and peace of mind. P.S. How do you plan your day? Do you use the good old pen-and-paper method, or do you prefer an app? Let me know below. #productivity #journaling #goals

This time of year can feel like a bit of a drag, especially when it comes to those last-minute tasks. It’s easy to feel like you’re running out of steam, yet there’s still so much to do! (You might even catch yourself daydreaming about a sunny beach instead of staring at your laptop… 🏝👙) Here’s a simple tip for those days when it feels hard to get going: start with just 15 minutes. Here’s how it works: tell yourself you’re only going to spend 15 minutes on that task you’ve been putting off. You’ll be amazed at how much you can get done in such a short time! This small burst of effort can give you the momentum you need to get started. And who knows—maybe you’ll feel like sticking with it for a bit longer. #productivityhacks #timemanagement #productivity #smallbusinessowner #creative

𝐇𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐬 𝐓𝐨 𝐊𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐃𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐃𝐚𝐲𝐬 A few years ago I used to get overwhelmed on the days when I had a to-do list a mile-long and calls and messages coming from all directions. But over time, I found a few simple hacks that help me stay efficient and focused, even on the busiest days. Here’s what I learned: 1. Take a breather 🧘♀️ Nothing will get done if you are panicking. Make sure you gather your thoughts before you dive into your work. Clarity at the outset goes a long way in tackling your day calmly 2. Wake up early ⏰ Waking up a few minutes earlier was a game-changer for me. I began my day with a clear head and even tackled a few quick tasks - like checking emails, clearing messages, and reviewing my morning dashboards - before I got to the office. This small habit helped me get a head start and set a productive tone for the day. 3. Organize & Prioritize 📋 Write down everything you need to accomplish, then prioritize. When you know what truly needs your attention, even the longest list starts to feel manageable. 4. Check things off one by one ✔️ Make a checklist and cross things off as you go. This simple act brings satisfaction, reinforces your progress, and keeps you in control of your day. Getting overwhelmed is natural but adding structure to your day and work will ensure maximum productivity in a chaotic day. #productivity #timemanagement #worktips #goalsetting #professionaldevelopment

Yes. WAKE UP. DONT JUDGE ME. Seriously, seeing a simple task like brush your teeth or wake up, something you know you’re going to do, motivates you because you’re already starting to check off tasks. But that isn’t the point here. The point here is that while you’re laying in bed even, just before you’re about to shut down for the night.. Jot a few todos down! Having an idea where you’re starting can be so incredibly helpful. For me, knowing my first step gets me started. But I like to categorize it so each task leads me into my next one that way it doesn’t even feel like a todo and more of just a routined day! More on that coming ✨ Follow along for more tips! 🙌🏼 #morningroutine #todolists #organized #virtualassistant #productivity #productivityhacks #habits #nighttimeroutine #reminders #workfromhome #influencermanagement #timemanagement #remotework

Have You Ever Heard Of The 'Eat The Frog' Productivity Hack? You have your favourite meal on the table right in front of you, but I say to you - "You have to eat this frog with your meal". Do you eat the frog BEFORE the meal, or do you eat the frog AFTER the meal? Most of us (hopefully) would choose to eat the frog BEFORE the meal, as we get to enjoy the fruits of our favourite meal afterwards. It's the same with business and productivity, if you do the difficult thing first then you get to enjoy yourself later. Smash out all the necessary tasks of the day in the morning, as this will allow you to spend the rest of your day expanding your knowledge, spending time with others, or doing whatever else you would like to do. This doesn't mean wake up at 4am, it just means this - wake up -> do the most important and highest ROI task on your list -> move onto minor tasks -> have the rest of your day free. #business #productivity
