💙 Let’s Talk About It: Supporting Men’s Mental Health 💙 Did you know that men are less likely to seek help for mental health concerns? Together, we can change that. Here’s how you can start the conversation: ✅ Choose the Right Moment: Find a time and place where you can talk privately and without distractions. ✅ Express Care: Use open-ended questions like, “How have you been feeling lately?” or “Is there anything on your mind?” ✅ Listen Without Judgment: Sometimes, just being there to listen can make a huge difference. ✅ Offer Support: Let them know you’re there for them, and share resources like Syntero support groups or counseling, or helplines if they’re open to it. Give them our intake number - 614-889-5722 x 133 ✅ Follow Up: Keep the conversation going. A single check-in can open the door to ongoing support. Talking about mental health might feel uncomfortable, but your care and compassion could be life-changing. Let’s normalize these conversations and break the stigma this Movember. #Movember #TalkingIsStrength #MensMentalHealth #BreakTheStigma #ItsOkayToNotBeOkay #SynteroCares #SynteroSupport

This week is Mental Illness Awareness Week, a time to bring much-needed attention to the millions of people affected by mental health conditions. It's a chance to educate, support, and break down the stigma that still surrounds mental illness. Mental health conditions—like anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and more—are real, common, and treatable. Yet, so many continue to suffer in silence due to fear and misunderstanding. Let’s use this week to start conversations, spread compassion, and remind everyone that mental health is as important as physical health. Whether it’s reaching out to a loved one, seeking help for yourself, or simply learning more about mental illness, every action counts. 💙 Together, we can create a world where nobody has to feel alone. If you're looking for guidance on your mental health journey, book a discovery call with me here: https://lnkd.in/gEinYAyt #MentalIllnessAwarenessWeek #EndTheStigma #MentalHealthMatters #BreakTheSilence #SupportMentalHealth #MentalWellnessJourney #YouAreNotAlone #HealingStartsWithConversation #MentalHealthAdvocate #TogetherWeHeal

Today is Mental Health Day. The biggest, most important thing that affects our mental health is love for ourselves. If we do not love ourselves, we suffer internally. We have to recognise & address the reason why. How else will we turn into that person whom we love, respect & honour? How else will we recognise that inner instability that affects us every day? It’s sad that it’s affecting us now & has in the past – why let it affect our futures? The hardest step is recognising what is holding us back, what problem do we have? The next step is reaching out & asking someone to help us with it. The final step is being vulnerable enough to accept that someone’s help. If you need help with your mental or emotional health – please reach out & ask for it. The first 10 people to direct message me saying which one of my meditations will help them I will send it to them for free. Have a look at my web site & let me know. www.uponangelswings.co.uk So if the only person you can reach out today is me – please do so 🙏 https://lnkd.in/g6dvcZcA #WorldMentalHealthDay #mentalhealthmatters #mentalhealthawareness #meditations #amheretohelp

With world mental health day approaching on the 10th October we all need to raise awareness of, and drive positive change for, everyone’s mental health. It’s also a chance to talk about mental health, how we need to look after it, and how important it is to get help if you are struggling. Some are hugely expressive and therefore if they are feeling it you’ll see it but for other people the happy, carefree demeanour they present to their family, friends and colleagues may mask their true feelings, experiences, concerns, fears and ill-health By developing the skills and confidence to offer support, and through being brave and asking for it, together we can try to prevent people reaching the point of crisis. Just remember to: * Always ask twice if someone is okay. * Signpost to further support if needed. * Speak to someone yourself after you have supported someone. #Worldmentalhealthday #mentalhealthmatters

May is Mental Health Awareness Month - an important time to recognize the importance of focusing on our mental health and to raise awareness about the struggles that so many people face. At some point in our lives, we may all experience mental health challenges, whether it's anxiety, depression, or something else entirely. It's important to remember that it's okay to not be okay, and seeking help is a sign of strength. This month, let's take some time to prioritize our own mental health, and to support our friends, family, and community members who may be struggling. Reach out to someone you care about and check in on them. Share resources and information to help reduce the stigma around mental health. Remember, you are not alone. Let's work together to create a world where everyone has access to the resources and support they need to thrive. #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth #EndTheStigma #MentalHealthMatters

As we step into Mental Health Awareness Month, it’s important to remember that all of us go through mental health challenges and your heavy feelings are never something to be ashamed of. Your feelings are valid, so please take care of yourself. You are never alone in this. Just because someone is smiling and appears happy on the outside, doesn’t mean they’re not going through something big on the inside. Remember to pause, breathe, and check in with yourself. Take breaks, prioritize rest, and move your body in ways that feel good. And please, don’t ever hesitate to reach out for help. If you need immediate support, call the Suicide Crisis Lifeline at 988. https://lnkd.in/e2WnaGT #MentalHealthMatters #BreakTheStigma #ItsOkayToNotBeOkay #MHAM2024 #MentalHealthAwareness #MentalHealthMatters #EmotionalWellness #SelfCare

🌍💚 World Mental Health Day 💚🌍 Today, we want to raise awareness about mental health and the importance of taking care of our minds as much as our bodies. Mental health matters, and it’s okay to not be okay. Let’s break the stigma, foster open conversations, and support one another on this journey. Whether it’s seeking help, offering a listening ear, or practicing self-care, every action counts. 💬✨ Most people are happy to listen and offer support to others who are having a tough time, sadly it is all too common that the person suffering “puts on a brave face” so no-one knows what lies beneath that. So please, if you are having a tough time, reach out - the road to recovery starts with a conversation, a phone call, even a text message. You are not alone. Together, we can create a world where mental well-being is a priority for everyone. 🌱 #WorldMentalHealthDay #MentalHealthMatters #BreakTheStigma #SelfCare #YouAreNotAlone
