Can dead plants be revived? From time to time, our customers report plants that have not had any leaves for years that have suddenly been revived. We don't know exactly how this works, except that it really does work. If you have weak plants, don't wait too long and give our Love Green a try. We are proud of the fact that we have not had one dissatisfied customer so far. #organic #organicfarming #fertilizer #organicfertilizer #agriculture #farm #fertilizantes #bio #biologico

A few weeks ago, Boerderij published an article about Dutch quinoa. The article provides and in-depth overview of the current developments and chances for cultivating this versatile crop in the Netherlands. Some aspects covered in the article are: 🌱 The cultivation possibilities of quinoa in the Netherlands. For example, the following is mentioned: “Quinoa is resistant to challenging conditions such as drought and salinization. Therefore, it also has potential in the Netherlands.” 🌱 Some stakeholders involved in the Dutch quinoa supply chain, such as RADICLE Crops (Andrés T.), Wageningen University & Research and the growers. 🌱 An explanation of why this hybrid crop could lead to a breakthrough. 🌱 The reasoning for our Dutch grower arco klok to grow in the future organic quinoa. Furthermore, he highlights the focus on high quality: ‘The growers at GreenFood50 opt for a high-quality crop instead of larger production.’, according to Klok. It's great to see how this 'superfood' is becoming more popular due to its versatility and advantages. A must-read for anyone interested in modern farming and sustainable cultivation practices! 🚜 If you are a subscriber of De Boerderij you can read the whole article via the following link: https://lnkd.in/eyHEgyMz #agriculture #quinoa #sustainability #farminginnovation #nutrition #sustainabledevelopment

I will be honest. I had no idea what arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (amf)was before starting at Sound Agriculture . However, it is an amazing product for growers to extend the root systems of their crop, giving access to more macro and micro-nutrients and water. Check out the deep dive in the link below from our very own scientific minds Anne Kakouridis and Calvin Murphy. #sustainableAgriculture

This is not a easy life. It’s hard work. The education of the life style should always be addressed. It’s a business first that is accompanied with a passion. It’s the way to be. Sometimes we do things in business we have to do till we get capital to do it the way we want. If calculated right you make decisions that can give you opportunities to be prosperous.
Ok, there’s 3 debates I’ve decided I’m really just sick of: 1. The whole GMO vs Non-GMO debate 2. The Grass Fed vs Grain Finished Beef debate 3. The Organic vs Non-Organic debate People on both sides of these debates listen up: As a producer I have to make money (yeah, that other “green stuff” that unfortunately I can’t literally grow) so I make the best decisions I can make based on what’s best for my business. Yes folks, despite all the Coom-by-Yah visions in your head about what a farm is or ideally should be in the end it’s a business that to survive has to make $$. No, I do not set out each day to try to poison the planet or its inhabitants. I’m a dad, husband, engineer & I farm to support my family. I get no “special privileges” for what I do, I do it because it’s my passion, my love of animals, crops, agronomy & our planet likely far surpasses the average person’s. I get the passion some have for these debates but just remember, being passionate about something is ok but while you are debating just keep in mind that the person on the other side of that argument is just as passionate too. I don’t want this to become the definition of farming in my lifetime, I want it to be here for my kids and their kids.
