Created and introduced tables within Enterprise-wide reporting to enable all operating units, regions, and manufacturing sites to see target values for quality costs. 2. Owned the accurate transfer and upload of financial data from across the Enterprise for key monthly executive and leadership reporting. 3. I taught myself the DAX programming language for Power BI development so that I could help with some dashboard development for the team. I did this even though I was an analyst and not a Power BI developer. I then used this knowledge to create multiple automations which saved the company thousands of hours in labor. 💼 I’m looking for Data Analyst roles (also Bus. I just discovered that many roles in the tech industry directly or indirectly need Data Analysis and even as a Social Media Manager, you must also be good at analyzing data. Not only that, as a Social Media Manager, you can also become a #Data Analyst - this is so cool. According to the Roadmap below, I am currently on the 3rd step. Hi folks - In search of some knowledge and experience from all of you. I am considering an expansion to hire some new part time roles for 1) online community engagement and for 2) data analysis with a web integration. I've learned from experience that it works SO MUCH better when you know more about what you're looking for. So - what have you looked for in these roles? What has made people really successful in these roles? If these are your roles - how do you define your roles? What sets you up for success? For online community engagement, the role will be focused on private groups in our program and our alumni. (not social media) For data analysis, the role will be finding new (free/cheap) data sources and figuring out how to use them dynamically in projects and websites.
