This is a game-changer for the Indian Armed Forces! Automating battlefield efficiency tests with Tynarace's advanced timing systems will not only save time but also ensure accurate results. Heartening to see our top military leadership talk of costs. After Ukraine/Gaza it's clear that exorbitant super defence technology and massive weapon systems can be innovatively thwarted by cheap, adaptable commercial technologies which are advancing much faster than defence tech. Spending lacs of crores in fighting futuristic space wars at the opportunity cost of uplifting our 400 million poor (can we remind ourselves enough that India has the largest population of poor in the world and is the poorest in per capita income in the G20) would be simply disloyal to the people of India. Optimising for adequate human security at least cost to the People should be our mantra.

Mr. Mark Mitcham, Ecosystem Integrator for the Future Vertical Lift-Cross Functional Team participated in a panel during the U.S. Army Network Technical Exchange Meeting (TEM) 12 in Philadelphia, Pa. The network is the Army’s number one transformation priority. TEM 12 provided an opportunity for Industry and Army Network Stakeholders to have a technical and operational discussion on all things Network related. Mitcham specifically spoke about the #FVLCFT effort to help with range extension and tactical networking requirements as they apply to the Aerial Tier Network Extension (ATNE). #FVLCFT is working the requirements through persistent experimentation and operational exercise integration in several Indo-Pacific opportunities. “The experimentation and demonstration of aerial tier communications capabilities with operational units has clearly shown both the improvement to the performance, reliability, and resiliency that it adds to the tactical network and the need to expand the battlefield geometry of communications into the aerial tier. Last week I had the privilege of speaking with the latest cohort to go through the Defence Innovation Essentials Course about my journey, how to avoid certain public sector obstacles and the power of the network. I needed them to finish, feeling as if there was an existing path for them to follow, and a support network for them to be part of. That it was the beginning of a journey, rather than the end of a course. Innovation for me is a mindset, identification of an idea to try something different, that looks create a positive impact. Australia's Navy, Army, and Air Force have leveraged Deloitte's Collective Intelligence to reimagine their workforces. A cross-functional Deliotte team worked with Navy staff to scope, design, configure, test, and pilot automated assistants that launched the Navy's transition to an artificial intelligence (AI) augmented workforce. Two AI assistants were initially built as proofs of concepts, delivering impressive outcomes, including an 85 per cent reduction in manual effort and follow-on savings of AU$1 million per annum. The rapid progress in the Navy's workforce transformation led to additional applications, including proof-of-concepts for both the Army and the Air Force.
