📽️ A New Video Series - Coming out tomorrow 🎞️ I am thrilled to team up with some sensational Partnerships experts, friends and colleagues from across the country, on a series of videos about the real power of cross sector partnerships!! The amazing opportunities this brings to all children across our collaborative networks is sensational and in the midst of all these distracting politics, I wanted to shine a light on what is actually happening in schools across the country, and how our various sectors (state, independent, industry, universities and charities) work together regularly in the best interests of our shared cohorts. As I always say, we believe in 'Collaboration NOT competition' and wherever we can work with others to enhance the education of the children we serve, it is our obligation to do so... That is all. A big shout out to my friend Jenny Rolfe-Wallace for her involvement in a recent online workshop on Financial Wellbeing. I love learning and thought I'd share two aspects in particular that were my takeaways. 1. A visual representation of financial wellbeing, shown as a puzzle, with lots of different pieces. It reminds we why sometimes we can feel overwhelmed with "financial decisions" but at the same time that we can tackle or focus on just one piece of the puzzle at a time to improve our financial wellbeing. 2. A reflection asking "In What Ways do I feel financially safe and protected?" At first this seemed an easy answer, "having a job and having insurance". But when taking some time to really sit with the question and ponder, a few other things came up. Having a support network around me, so that if I floundered there would be financial assistance, was a huge realisation. Not only am I in a position to know which organisations to ask and when if help was needed financially, but it's the people around me too. I'm feeling particularly grateful for the people in my support network right about now who I know love and support me.
