FMM was thrilled to attend the inaugural Web Summit Qatar, which brought together a constellation of tech luminaries, startups, and visionaries. It was incredibly interesting and insightful to be at the heart of all the discussions around cutting-edge technology, innovations, and the future of the industry. Summarizing our takeaways as a Facility Management company, we will carry forward these top 3 conclusions: 1. AI isn’t just a buzzword; it’s a game-changer. AI-powered solutions shall be the future. Today marks an important #milestone for our young company. After founding and incubation of the idea as part of GATEWAY49 and our current ESA BIC Northern Germany involvement, Coher Sense can announce the project start of our ZIM-DS feasibility study RaInIso-DS. As part of this co-funding grant, our CEO and founder Oliver Lischtschenko has been able to leave the #bootstrapping at Ocean Optics and focus full-time at Coher Sense. Huge thanks to Frederick Vinzent and the entire EurA AG team for the #support with the #grant application. We wouldn´t have been able to do this without your support. While it is not a huge amount for most companies, it is a real #gamechanger for a small, young company like us. Huge thanks to VDI/VDE Innovation + Technik GmbH and the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action for the positive assessment and for providing the funding. We will make sure it is well invested and sustainable. Besides partial funding for Oliver, 2 additional full-time positions can be created for 6 respectively 8 months and we hope to keep building up. AND THE PITCHES HAVE STARTED ! The growth of this competition has been impressive: from 140 applications in 2019 to 400+ contestants in 2023. The competition enjoys the support of 70 C-level executives in Real Estate and Tech and members of the European Commission,, which guarantees a balanced and truly objective validation of the best and the most promising PropTech and Contech startups in Europe.
