Sure! I would like to attend the 2025 Launching Leaders Worldwide Africa Conference, here are my few suggestions to enhance experience and impact; 1) Mentorship Opportunities: Incorporate structured mentorship sessions where participants can engage with experienced leaders in their fields. This could be through one-on-one meetings or small group discussions to ensure that participants gain valuable insights and advice. 2) Youth and Women Empowerment Initiatives: Highlight sessions and initiatives focused on empowering young leaders and women in Africa. This could include scholarships, grants, or partnerships with organizations supporting these groups. 3) Sustainability Focus: Integrate conversations about sustainability in leadership and business practices. Address how leaders can build eco-friendly, socially responsible businesses that contribute to the sustainable development of Africa. 4) Post-Conference Support: Consider offering post-conference follow-up sessions, webinars, or a community space (such as a private online group) where attendees can continue to network, collaborate, and access resources shared during the event. Who else would like to attend? ✋ #Mentorship #Empowerment #Sustainability #Networking #Support

We are living through a momentous period of change as we transition our energy systems to renewable. The change is both technological and social. It is imperative that we not only shape the technological agenda but we also share the vision and the leadership needed to transition effectively.
Seasoned conference goers will know that the value of these events is as much in the offline conversations as what's happening on stage, but also in the intent of the gathering. The intent of the South West Development Commission's inaugural Innovative Industries of the Future conference raises the ambition of Western Australian business and industry leaders, thinkers and power brokers to step up boldly to current challenges, cognisant of both huge opportunity and an urgent timeframe. I love the idea that WA still has the chance to tell a magnificent story about how we stepped up in this critical moment, so I can't wait to see how the Innovative Industries of the Future conference can impact the collective effort. Congratulations to Mellisa Teede and team for curating such interesting conversations. I'm looking forward to my panel with Dr Parwinder Kaur, Marion Burchell and Trevor Cochrane that asks "What role can governments, researchers, innovators, industry and the creative industries play in creating trustworthy platforms and content that engage communities and build social license on developments?" attending business conferences is what I will be doing this year, I believe It's an opportunity to stay ahead of the curve, gain valuable knowledge, and understand the direction in which the industry is heading. Interaction with Industry Experts: One of the greatest advantages of attending conferences is the opportunity to engage directly with industry experts.

Interesting conclusion. Would be worth discussing in a panel on one of the next conferences.
