Still more from the MU survey: "[My] personal feeling is that our use of MU is performative and it is not used deeply. Our test validation process requires generating a MU from intermediate QC. But there are no standards of number of QC events to average, number of reagent lots to cover, number of operators etc. We do not include bias and I don't have a good understanding of how this would be incorporated.... I sense clinicians are on the whole not interested in adding to their own diagnostic uncertainty." Agree? Disagree?
