Biolinks Alliance’s Post

Psst... take a moment to check out these beautiful bird photos by our Ecologist, Dr. Christopher Pocknee. We've been busy conducting our annual bird surveys at Spring Plains Nature Conservation Reserve as part of our Watershed Repair Pilot Project at this Box-Ironbark forest. These surveys follow BirdLife Australia's systematic 2 ha/20 minute search guidelines and take place annually in Spring to inform us about how the bird community is responding to our interventions as part of this ambitious project. 🦜 If you're a bird buff and would like to get involved and help our ecologists complete these surveys, please feel free to get in touch! 🦜 We have a small number remaining to complete this month and will be repeating this monitoring again next Spring.
