Today, junior scientists often wield decision-making power in equipment purchases: buying groups typically include at least 3 people, and based on surveys of our researcher user base, there’s a 25% likelihood those involved are PhDs candidates. And that’s exactly why advertisers shouldn’t downplay their potential: PhD candidates are eager to ingest educational content about products and services and apply those learnings in their academic work and decisions. A small but mighty demographic, aspiring researchers hold great promise for their labs—and they’re just getting started.
