More than 84% of Swedes choose Austria ⛷️ 🇦🇹 Together with Freeride, we made a survey to see which ski destination Swedes prefer. Based on 1417 responses, it became clear that 84.3% prefer to travel to Austria on their ski/snowboard trips, making Austria No. 1 on the list of favorite ski destinations among the respondents. And if you look at the Alps as a whole, almost 35% have already booked their trip there this winter. The questionnaire also reveals something else interesting: 60% of the respondents could imagine taking the train on a skiing holiday south - over 20% even say they would definitely choose the train if it is possible where they are going. We're proud and happy to see sustainable travel on the rise in Sweden ☘️ - and of course, it's great to see Austria as the favorite ski destination 🗻. This is the year of the European ski vacation according to Campstories client Ski.com. They note that while domestic demand is basically flat, Europe is up considerably (about 40% YoY). According to CMO, Dan Sherman: “A lot of our customers have discovered that a ski trip to Europe is a lot easier and less expensive than they once thought. Flight access is very good from numerous American cities, and fares are reasonable. In some cases, it’s actually easier to get to Europe to ski than it is to get to the Rockies.” Check out Everett Potter's piece on Forbes highlighting why you too, should book that European ski trip! https://lnkd.in/gn-dX-8S #travel #ski #winter #wintertravel #publicrelations

Most private jets have generous baggage allowances, less strict on weight and size than when traveling commercially. Especially for oddly-sized items such as golf bags or skiing equipment, commercial airlines often require you to pay extra fees, if it's even possible to take them with you at all. This can be a huge benefit if you are someone who likes to travel with a lot of gear or have multiple sporting hobbies that require large items, such as skis, surfboards, etc. Other travelers, such as engineers, may need to take bulky and heavy equipment with them to their destination, and private jets can accommodate these needs without extra fees or hassle. - For private jet hire visit us at https://lnkd.in/dNRmnVjS . . . . #privatejet #luxurytravel #baggageallowance #travelinstyle #privatetravel #luxurylifestyle #privatejetcharter #viptravel #executivetravel #travelcomfort #exclusivejourney #travelconvenience #luxuryjets #privateplane #eliteflyer #premiumtravel #travelwithoutlimits #flyprivate #firstclasstravel #luxuryexperience

Its been a record year for Inghams ski and train travel! This year we had a big push to help customers get to the Alps by train and, as the ski season draws to a close, I am so pleased to see that we have exceeded our passenger target and have sent more people than ever by train to 17 of our 70 different ski resorts. We do our best to reduce carbon emissions through the entire trip but putting customers on a train is the single most impactful thing we can do. For my mind, when train travel is practicable it’s one of the most relaxing ways to get from point A to point B. The travel times can be surprising- Inghams can get you from London to top French resorts in around 9 hours and top Austrian resorts in 12. It won’t work for every resort or every customer but when it does, it is a great way to go. Of course, it doesn't end with skiing - a huge range of trips and destinations are available by train this spring and beyond through Inghams, Inntravel and Explore Worldwide #travel #ski #sustainability

Each year, a number of ski resorts across Japan cease operations. These closures are often due to shrinking visitor numbers, rising operational and maintenance costs, staff shortages, and poor snowfall due to warmer winters. With skiing falling out of favor among domestic tourists, the number of closures is expected to accelerate in the coming years. https://lnkd.in/gX_cMexD #japanrealestate

Lapland Resorts starts a collaboration with Narvikfjellet for shared ski passes and marketing! Lapland Resorts is pleased to announce an exciting collaboration with Narviksfjellet, which offers skiing and a new and improved experience in the arctic border area between Sweden and Norway. The collaboration involves a joint ski pass and a strengthened marketing strategy, which gives visitors the opportunity to experience both Lapland Resorts (Riksgränsen and Björkliden) and Narvikfjellet with only one ski pass. With the new ski pass, ski enthusiasts can experience three ski resorts on one ski pass. The new offer makes it easier for both local and international guests to access a wide range of ski slopes and facilities in both Narvik and Kirunafjällen. This allows visitors to experience different snow conditions and terrain at three different ski resorts, all located in the heart of the arctic nature. In addition, both Lapland Resorts and Narvikfjellet have decided to offer their indivdual seasonal ski passes clients the possibility to purchase seasonal ski passes at the other ski destination for an additional SEK 500/NOK per person. The supplement can be purchased at each destination with a presentation of a valid individual season ski pass. For more information about the collaboration see the press release below: Welcome to the 2025 ski season and the opportunity to ski in a brand new ski resort #LRAB #skiinginBjörkliden #SkiinginRiksgränsen #SkiinginNarviksfjellet #Narviksfjellet
