Research & Innovation, BITS Pilani’s Post

The Research & Innovation, BITS Pilani team is excited to share a new publication by Dr. Harikrishnan A R and other author published in Physics of Fluids. 🎉   𝐓𝐢𝐭le: Role of retraction dynamics in bouncing to pinning transition during drop impact on cold superhydrophobic surfaces   Highlights: The present study brings out the influence and relevance of retraction dynamics on bouncing to pinning transition of impacting drop on cold superhydrophobic surface. A theoretical framework has been proposed to predict the pinning to bouncing regimes for drop impact over subcooled superhydrophobic surfaces. The results of this study give engineers a path toward creating surfaces with anti-icing properties.   𝐃𝐎𝐈: https://lnkd.in/ghhbWdMN   Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani | BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus| Research & Innovation, BITS Pilani| Dr. Harikrishnan A R | Sanket Goel | Surender Mohan | Vishwajeet Parihar | Arpita Sharma | Praloy Mondal | Apurva Vunnava | Dr. Radhika Vangala | Dr. Juhi Kumari | Navya Debbad
