The sole use of flywheels lacks depth in discussions on market capture. It incorrectly assumes everybody's of the same profile with homogenous needs. You're better off first using Geoffrey Moore's framework by slicing the market into (in this order) those who are in the business of inventing/finding solutions, those who actively look for solution to force a change in status quo, those who don't mind solutions to supplement the status quo, those who gets pressured to change to your solution and those who will never change til the end of time (don't waste time on them). And only then apply flywheels within those sliced segments.

Gliding operations don’t represent a significant impact on the environment. Low emission LPG fuelled cable launching winches, efficient powerplants in modern lightweight tow planes that sip fuel, and of course gliders that fly for hours utilising rising air - with gradually increasing numbers of production e-powered self launching sailplanes out there. While e-powered winches now exist, they are still very rare.
