I’ve been thinking about what makes leadership work—what really makes a difference. For me, it’s pretty simple: seeing people. It’s not just about solving problems or hitting goals. It’s about understanding the people you’re working with—what drives them, what they need, and how you can create an environment where they feel valued and trusted. That’s what I admire about many interim leaders. They come in with fresh eyes and focus on helping teams stay grounded and connected, even in the middle of big changes.
