Patient Safety Week runs from October 28th – November 1st. We all contribute to patient safety. At Brightshores, we focus on providing high quality, excellent patient care. Part of keeping patients safe when they visit the hospital, is to make sure we introduce ourselves. The Centre of Perioperative Care has now launched a two-page quick summary of the National Safety Standards of Invasive Procedures (NatSSIPs). This is a mini-education for anyone who does interventional procedures and the teams that support them. This is to ensure that every patient gets through their procedure safely.
