🚀💥The United States Department of Defense has selected AeroVironment to provide loitering munition systems for the agency’s Replicator initiative. "Operational/tactical aircraft, attack unmanned aerial vehicles, missile troops and artillery of the Russian groups of forces struck a production workshop of attack unmanned aerial vehicles and amassed enemy manpower and military equipment in 137 areas," the ministry said. Russian air defenses destroy 37 Ukrainian UAVs, four HIMARS rockets over past day Russian air defense forces shot down 37 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and four US-made HIMARS rockets over the past day, the ministry reported. "Air defense capabilities shot down four rockets of the US-made HIMARS multiple launch rocket system and 37 fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles," the ministry said. Overall, the Russian Armed Forces have destroyed 649 Ukrainian warplanes, 283 helicopters, 37,596 unmanned aerial vehicles, 586 surface-to-air missile systems, 19,730 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,500 multiple rocket launchers, 19,482 field artillery guns and mortars and 29,146 special military motor vehicles since the start of the special military operation, the ministry reported. 🇪🇪🤖 Milrem Robotics has opened a new Tracked Hybrid Modular Infantry System (THeMIS) production facility in Estonia. Established near the company's headquarters in Tallinn, the center will increase THeMIS assembly and manufacturing to over 500 units annually. “Many end-users, satisfied with the results of testing the robotic vehicles, are preparing to launch high-quantity procurements,” Milrem Robotics CEO Kuldar Väärsi explained. “With the opening of our new facility, we are better prepared to answer these calls. 🚀⚡️ Kratos Defense and Security Solutions has showcased the XQ-58A Valkyrie drone’s electronic warfare capabilities for the United States Marine Corps at Eglin Air Force Base. The Valkyrie flew with two F-35 Lightning II combat aircraft and performed an integrated electronic attack. This year’s largest European defence industry event, Eurosatory, featured the biggest-ever presence of unmanned combat systems by the world-leading robotics and autonomous systems developer Milrem Robotics. Altogether, 10 of the company’s robotic systems were on display at the exhibition, which took place from June 17 to 21 in Paris, France. Eight of these systems were different versions of the THeMIS Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV) and two Type-X Robotic Combat Vehicles (RCV). In addition to Milrem Robotics’ stand, systems were showcased together with leading industry partners: Avalor.AI, CNIM, KNDS, KONGSBERG, and Thales, additionally featuring integrated technology by FN Herstal, Metravib Defence, Leonardo, Rheinmetall, Pearson Engineering, and Vegvisir. "The THeMIS UGV was already part of robotics programmes in 18 countries worldwide and assisting Ukrainian soldiers with casualty evacuation and route clearance in the war with Russia," said Kuldar Väärsi, CEO of Milrem Robotics.
