🚨 Cybersecurity Alert 🚨
A fascinating video below shared by Tomas Okmanas, Nord Security's co-founder, reveals some shocking statistics. Their analysis showed that the most common password across 44 countries is still "123456". 😱
In an era where cyber-attacks and phishing incidents are on the rise, it's alarming to see that many people continue to use easily guessable passwords like "123456"..
🔒 Did you know?
- Cybercrime costs are predicted to reach $9.5 trillion USD in 2024 and are expected to grow by 15% per year, reaching $10.5 trillion USD annually by 2025.
- Phishing remains the most common email attack method, accounting for 39.6% of all email threats.
- Nearly 1.2% of all emails shared are malicious, translating to 3.4 billion phishing emails daily.
These statistics underscore the importance of using strong, unique passwords and being vigilant against phishing attempts. Let's all take a moment to review our cybersecurity practices and ensure we're doing everything we can to protect ourselves and our data.
Stay safe and smart online! 💻🔐
