1. Prepare Tools and Materials Before starting construction, you need to prepare the following tools and materials: Tools: Saws, drills, hammers, pliers, gauges, and measuring wires. Material: Wood (or other weatherproof material), iron mesh, nails, screws, waterproof paint. 2. Plan Before embarking on construction, draw up a design diagram for your pigeon house. Make sure that it has enough space for the birds, and calculate the size so that it fits the plant that you will be enclosing. 3. Choose a location on the tree Choose a healthy and stable plant for attaching the barn. The tree should be of moderate height and away from dangerous sources such as predators. Make sure that this location has enough light and good ventilation for the aviary. 4. Build a barn frame Main Frame: Use wood as the main frame of the barn. Make sure the frame is sturdy and can withstand the weight of the cage and birds. Frame Mounting: Use nails or screws to mount the wooden slats together. Make sure the frame is durable and does not wobble. 5. Installing the Barn Roof Choose Roof Material: Wood or corrugated iron can be used to make the roof of the barn. The roof needs to be waterproof to protect the birds from rain and bad weather. Roof Mounting: Make sure the roof is installed tightly and not blown away by the wind. A layer of waterproof paint can be added to protect the roof. 6. Mesh and Door Installation Protective Netting: Install iron nets around the cage to protect birds from wild animals and insects. Make sure the mesh is securely attached and there are no gaps. Doors: Create a door that is large enough for you to easily take care of the birds. The door should have a lock or latch to keep the birds safe. 7. Interior decoration Sleeping Place: Provides a sleeping place and a place for birds to lay eggs. Wood or soft materials can be used to nest birds. Utensils: Place necessary utensils such as feeding troughs, drinking troughs so that birds can eat and drink comfortably. 8. Inspection and Maintenance Periodic Inspection: Inspect the barn regularly to ensure that it is still in good condition and shows no signs of damage. Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance such as repainting the roof, replacing damaged nets, and cleaning the cage to keep the bird's habitat clean and safe. 9. Introduce birds into the cage Once the cage is complete, slowly introduce the birds into their new cage. Monitor them for the first few days to make sure they feel comfortable and safe in their new environment.
