#BusinessMentorSeries #16 You may have heard of this before. We are not in the same boat, but we are all in the SAME STORM! Is that describing your business situation right now? "Hurricane Helene" hit Florida, US recently first before Hurricane "Monster" Milton hit Florida again that have caused humongous physical damage to one of the richest state in US. Yes... the wrath happened to US and not our countries but the weather patterns communicate with each other. Different storms hit different parts of the world. How's the recent economic pattern which may have hit your business? Problem #1 Different businesses may have different challenges (different boats) but the same business problems (same storm) hit every business. Examples: ineffective marketing & sales, low customer retention, difficult closing, debt collections etc. Problem #2 The nature of any business. One business doing well does not necessarily mean that one will do well if that person/entity take over. Again, different management styles, different outcomes. But one thing remains.... as long as there are people involved, the same challenges apply to every business. As I am writing this, there is a thunder storm outside my window. The storm has triggered my morning thoughts! Problem #3 If you consider every country is like a big business entity, then you will understand that what happens to every country's economics may be different and yet they are all subject to the same threat of economic turbulence nonetheless. US being one of the largest economic power, is not exempted from the hard attack of a looming recession. Japan being a surplus country, has experienced one of the longest decades of recession and lowest currency exchange in recent times. So how do we get out of this or at least, find a way to cope with this?
