Fisia Italimpianti, Webuild, participates in IDRA World Congress, currently underway in Abu Dhabi, the worldwide event, hosted this year by the Department of Energy Abu Dhabi, that features the latest innovations and breakthroughs for the water scarcity management. 🗣️ In one of the technical session of the event, Giorgio Pratofiorito, Water Treatment & Desalination Technologist, presented a paper dedicated to the management of discharges from seawater reverse osmosis (SWRO) plants, with an in-depth analysis of current Italian legislation, showing how desalination can be an effective tool in the production of fresh water in compliance with the most stringent environmental regulations. 📍 Our CEO Paola BERTOSSI has been recently appointed member of the Term 21 Board of Directors of International Desalination and Reuse Association (IDRA), having so the opportunity to represent the skills and capabilities of Fisia Italimpianti in this organization.
