🎉 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 70 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗛ö𝗱𝗹𝗺𝗮𝘆𝗿: 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 Last weekend almost 1000 #peopleinlogistics came together at our location for a three-day event in Schwertberg to celebrate our 70th anniversary. From our valued customers and employees to family and longtime companions – everyone came in an excellent mood. Johannes Hödlmayr itself took us on a journey through time that all of us could relive the most important milestones. While the third generation Nina Hoedlmayr, Julian Hödlmayr & Johannes Alexander Hödlmayr let us about their perception of the Hödlmayr values and our Board of Directors Johannes Alexander Hödlmayr, Robert Horvath & Andreas SUNDL shared their ideas of the future with us. Or in other words: Scooty beam me up! 🚀 Delicious food and drinks were provided throughout the weekend, as well as a varied entertainment program. From inspiring key notes by futurologists Horx & Horx (Tristan Horx), humorous artistic highlights by a caricaturist or a bubble artist and to an exciting pub quiz, everything was included! 🎤🎭📚 A big thanks to everyone who made this anniversary so special. We look forward to the next 70 years of innovation, collaboration and success! Let’s shape the future together! PS: The next milestone happened yesterday: On July 1, Johannes Alexander Hödlmayr officially took over his position as CEO of Hödlmayr International GmbH. Roche in Norway has many wishes for 2025, but one of them is more Nordic cooperation🇧🇻🇸🇪🇩🇰🇫🇮. The Nordic countries share similar demographics. The report "Value and Impact in Nordic Healthcare Systems" (ADC, 2024) highlights several common challenges for Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland. The demographic trends for the Nordic region indicate a progressively aging population. At the same time, there is a relative increase in chronic and non-communicable diseases, which means resource-related pressure on both the specialist healthcare and, in particular, primary healthcare in the coming years. Fortunately, we also share many advantages. Strong welfare states with economic capacity and the ability to innovate. We are digitized and sit on enormous health data resources. Overall, the Nordic region has a health industry with big muscles💪. If we are to manage this, we must learn from each other. From the Finns' progress with health data, from the Danes' systematic work with clinical studies, or the Swedes' world-class public-private partnerships. Vi har mange ønsker for 2025, og ett av de er mer nordisk samarbeid🇧🇻🇸🇪🇩🇰🇫🇮 Demografisk utvikling i de nordiske landene likner hverandre. Rapporten “Value and Impact in Nordic Healthcare Systems” (lenke i kommentarfeltet), peker på en del felles utfordringer for Norge, Sverige, Danmark og Finland. De demografiske trendene for Norden indikerer en progressivt aldrende befolkning. Samtidig foreligger det en relativ økning i kroniske og ikke-smittsomme sykdommer, som innebærer ressursmessig press på både spesialisthelsetjeneste og i særdeleshet primærhelsetjeneste i de kommende årene. Heldigvis har vi også mange felles fortrinn. Sterke velferdsstater med økonomisk kapasitet og evne til å innovere. Vi er digitaliserte og sitter på enorme helsedataressurser. Norden har samlet sett en helseindustri med store muskler💪 Skal vi klare dette, må vi lære av hverandre. NPA South Asian Heritage Month webinar ! Yesterday, the NPA hosted a celebration of our SAH colleagues in an inspiring webinar. We shared their invaluable contributions as Pharmacists. We not only acknowledged the excellence & dedication of our colleagues, but the vibrant diversity & rich cultural tapestry that shapes our workplace & communities. Diversity is not just a buzzword, it’s a source of strength, innovation & empathy. Our SAH brings with it unique perspectives & skills, deeply rooted in tradition, values & experiences that enrich the healthcare industry. This diversity isn’t just about where we come from- it’s about how our varied backgrounds allow us to connect with our patients, understand their needs more deeply & offer care that truly makes a difference. Sanjay shared his sense of commitment & duty he felt when taking on his family pharmacy where his parents had worked and built trust, reputation & commitment to local community. He was able to learn from his own experiences watching & grafting to develop a family, work balance. Sehar shared her amazing supportive parents, whose unwavering encouragement, despite her own doubts- nurtured & pushed her to succeed & strive for excellence! Their entrepreneurial drive planted a seed for Sehar to also think outside the box & start her own venture online. She embraced parenthood, her parents were the perfect role models! I’m sure she’ll be inspiring her own daughters. Salim inspired us with his amazing capacity to network culminating from an inclusive culture from East Africa, where he experienced all cultures being celebrated. He shared the origin story of Avicenna. I will always look at the RPS coat of arms & think of his journey; where people invested in people! Thorrun encouraged us to take up opportunities that arise, even if you’re not sure. Her Punjabi & Gujarati heritage has allowed her to enter spaces we’ve never seen ourselves before- on TV!!! This is scary, but her bravery shines through, & I feel proud to see her presence on our screens! Growing up in rural Shropshire, I was one of the few children from an Indian background. At first, my ‘otherness’ felt like a challenge—I stood out because of my different skin color, my family’s language, and our cultural traditions. But as I grew older, I realised that this difference was my superpower. It allowed me to empathise with others who also felt different, whether because of their accent, background, or even a disability. This ability to see and understand the world from various perspectives became a crucial asset, helping me lead teams, forge strong social networks, and eventually, guide diverse teams in the professional sphere. Let’s remember that our diversity is our strength. It’s what makes us uniquely qualified to serve a diverse population, and it’s what allows us to bring fresh, empathetic perspectives to the table.
