Today, we recommend the MIC5205, a highly efficient linear regulator with an ultra-low noise output and very low voltage drop (17mV at light load, 165mV@150mA), and very low ground current (only 600µA at 100mA output). The MIC5205 has an initial accuracy of better than 1%. Designed for handheld battery-powered devices, the MIC5205 includes CMOS or TTL compatible enable/off control inputs. In the off state, power consumption is close to zero, effectively extending battery life. The voltage regulator's ground current increases only slightly at light loads, further optimizing battery efficiency. I just finished a task of investigating ATC CNC Router Machine. After I connected power supply, started machine and examine it, I found: 1- CPU (SYNTEC EZ4M) is not processing normally, machine cannot be homed, spindle is always at running status and cannot excute many functions. 2- X- Axis Servo Motor Dreiver is defected. 3- Spindle inverter is defected. 4- Remote control is defected. I made a market research for those components and found that their cost is greater than buying similar new machine! I informed machine owner and recommend to dismantle and sell it part by part!
