Over the weekend, I organized my first “Surviving to Thriving in the Ocean” masterclass to boost ocean confidence. It was so much fun for both the participants and me!🌸🙏 In the afternoon, my childhood friend, who is in Australia for work, asked me to arrange a surf lesson for her coworkers and herself. I reached out to @kirrapoint.surfschool , and they made it possible. Everyone had a blast! (And I highly recommend them.🏄♀️) At the end of each activity, I was often asked: “Why do you mix all these as a coach? Why swimming, fitness, psych-k®, and so on?” My first answer was simple: because I love doing all of this, and I believe it’s all connected. On Sunday, I had a deep and powerful chat with @ana_salido_ ,which reminded us of our ‘why’. Here’s mine: I mix different modalities because they all teach us how to truly take care of ourselves—not just superficially, but on a deeper level. Self-care is more than just going to the spa. It’s about nurturing, healing, feeding, and growing our mind, body, and soul. They are all interconnected. As women, we often put ourselves last, but we need to change that. My goal as an individual, coach, and business owner is to grow, evolve, and lead by example. I want to help other women take care of themselves and do the same, no matter what it means for each of us. #selfcare #womenempowerment #healthylifestyle #mindbodysoul #swimming #subconsciousmind #fitnessmotivation #halfironmantraining

Getting out the door for the gym or training after a mentally and physically demanding day can be one of the hardest things to do. It’s a challenge I faced tonight. Even as someone who has built a life around physical activity—working as an international athlete and professional sportsman—I still find it difficult sometimes. The hardest part is often just taking that first step out the door. But tonight, I pushed through and made it to rugby training. The moment I got moving, the energy, the camaraderie, and the thrill kicked in. I had an absolute blast, and now I feel incredible. The truth is, the benefits of exercise and staying healthy are undeniable. It’s not just about physical fitness but also mental resilience. If you’re struggling to get moving after a tough day, remember that the hardest part is stepping outside—everything after that is worth it. Keep pushing, take that step, and invest in your health. It truly is the key to a balanced and fulfilling life. #MotivationMonday #FitnessJourney #MentalHealthMatters #Wellness #ActiveLifestyle #ProfessionalAthlete #RugbyLife #HealthIsWealth #MindsetMatters #StayActive #PersonalGrowth #Discipline #OvercomingChallenges #Wellbeing #Inspiration

The gym has become my happy place, a sanctuary where I can de-stress from the demands of corporate life. Training alongside professional athletes keeps me motivated and focused, reminding me that discipline and consistency are key to success in every area of life. The same principles I use in my personal and professional goals—commitment, focus, and resilience—are what drive me at the gym. I concentrate on *my* journey, not getting intimidated or distracted by others. We should all focus on our personal journeys and stop competing with our peers. We are not the same, and that's okay. You can be inspired by others, but don’t do things simply because they are. Your path, your timing, and your anointing are unique. #FocusOnYourJourney #PersonalGrowth #Resilience #StayMotivated

You’re holding yourself back. I’m 100% sure this is the case in at least one major area of your life. I’m 75% sure fitness is one of those areas for you. Why? You base your training/exercise, or LACK of it, on what others influence you to do. Instead, you should be finding the sweet spot of what you are: - interested in - most in need of I’ve been there, following the up-to-date “smart strength coach” programs, BUT I realized I was overweight, aerobically feeble, and honestly bored. So I started doing stuff like trail runs (walk/run to start), climbing, snowboarding… It snowballed. I lost 35 pounds and can do things I would’ve previously thought were #elite. Stop holding yourself back. Be real about what you want AND need. In fitness, career, social life, etc… It’s not selfish. It’s #honest. And it’s the best way to make a genuine impact on those around you. Take some #ownership. If you don’t know where to start, you’re in luck. I #coach people to do that.

Prioritizing mental and physical well-being in sports is crucial for peak performance. In today's competitive landscape, athletes are often under immense pressure to succeed. However, it's important to remember that true greatness comes from a holistic approach. By taking care of your mind, body, and soul, you can achieve a balanced and fulfilling athletic career. Tip: Remember to listen to your body and mind. If you’re feeling overwhelmed or exhausted, take a break. Prioritize self-care, whether it’s through meditation, spending time in nature, or simply taking a day off. #sports #wellbeing #mentalhealth #performance #athlete #mindfulness

Gym session with my trainer this morning. Friends and clients ask, why I visit Dan. I explain he is my accountable partner. He keeps me on track and stops my bad habits. Very much my own role as a life planner. It’s your life, but I’ll hold you accountable. If you tell me something is really really important to you, surely you will take steps to achieve your goal. Living life to chance is not planning. #financialfreedom #onelife
