Getting out the door for the gym or training after a mentally and physically demanding day can be one of the hardest things to do. It’s a challenge I faced tonight. Even as someone who has built a life around physical activity—working as an international athlete and professional sportsman—I still find it difficult sometimes. The hardest part is often just taking that first step out the door. But tonight, I pushed through and made it to rugby training. The moment I got moving, the energy, the camaraderie, and the thrill kicked in. I had an absolute blast, and now I feel incredible. The truth is, the benefits of exercise and staying healthy are undeniable. It’s not just about physical fitness but also mental resilience. If you’re struggling to get moving after a tough day, remember that the hardest part is stepping outside—everything after that is worth it. Keep pushing, take that step, and invest in your health.
