Quite interesting article. In addition, I would add that the price index is divided by categories, then we have to be careful with the global index. I share an example: Imagine there's a market that sells both bananas and oranges, and we're looking at how prices change over time. Let's say bananas become 20% more expensive, but oranges become 20% cheaper. Now, you might think if the price index is 0%, it means there's no change in overall prices. But that's not quite right because the price index considers both bananas and oranges together. So, even though the price index might not show a change, if you only buy bananas, you'll actually be able to buy fewer bananas despite the overall index saying prices haven't changed. This example highlights how looking at price changes by category can give us a clearer picture of what's happening than just the overall price index

These include structuralists and monetarists (Nitisha, n.d.). Structural economists assert, inflation is the end-product of the imbalances inherent in economic systems; and adapt both fiscal and monetary policy measures in their attempt to address economic challenges.
