🤝 Sign the Manufacturing & Research Innovation Petition - https://lnkd.in/gp4k2jPy
As a member of the Partnership Board between EFFRA and the European Federation for Welding, Joining and Cutting (EWF) Commission, I am deeply committed to advancing manufacturing excellence in Europe. By signing this petition, we can collectively urge policymakers to enhance their focus on manufacturing and increase funding for applied research in this vital sector. 🏭🔬
European manufacturing has been the bedrock of our wealth, security, and quality of life. Historically, Europe has been a leader in technological innovation, and it's time to reclaim our position as global pioneers in producing cutting-edge products and systems. 🌍✨
Manufacturing is more than just an industry; it's a driver for a prosperous future. It creates high-quality jobs, promotes circular production, addresses skills shortages, decarbonizes transport and energy, adapts to societal changes, and develops advanced defense systems. By prioritizing manufacturing, we are ensuring a brighter future for Europe. 💼♻️🔋
Support for manufacturing research is crucial at all levels. In Framework Programme 10, we are calling for a doubling of the funding for manufacturing research, particularly through the Made in Europe Partnership. This will attract industry investment and deliver faster and better results. 📈💡
We need to strengthen collaboration between the Made in Europe Partnership and sector-specific initiatives. A unified approach to addressing manufacturing challenges is essential. 🤝🔗
Let's champion manufacturing and keep Europe at the forefront of global innovation! 🇪🇺💪
