📣 FUTURE HORIZONS IN NEURO-ONCOLOGY Great evening hearing about on-going work and the possibilities for developing and expanding the clinical-academic interface in neuro-oncology as part of the Brain Tumour Research Regional Network Event hosted by Cancer Research @UCC The discussions spanned multiple #UCCFutures areas including but not limited to Medicines and Ageing and Brain Science. The event highlighted the potential to develop a true translational CTR pipeline in an area in which there is a critical mass of expertise in the region. Working to develop intra- and inter-institutional collaboration with the right supports and space will be key in developing this opportunity and its enormous potential for impact. Well done to Jack Gleason, Lily Keane and Wail Abdu Mohammed on a great initative. This was a really informative and enjoyable networking session, fostering collaborations between academic and clinical colleagues. Neuro-oncology is an important theme within both #UCCFutures Future Ageing and Brain Science and Future Medicine, and I look forward to many collaborations and funding opportunities. Many thanks to Lily Keane, Jack Gleeson and Wail Abdu Mohammed for organising this event. UCC Medicine and Health
