Here we go!!!! Our exosomes systematic review is out. The paper emphasizes the necessity for standardized research methods to ensure dependable therapeutic outcomes in aesthetic and regenerative medicine. The study revealed a lack of adherence to reporting and experimental standards in various systematic reviews on exosome therapies, highlighting the importance of addressing methodological disparities and regulatory requirements for safe and effective therapeutic modalities. Companies and manufacturers are hesitant to invest in high-quality clinical trials to demonstrate product worthiness, as they continue to profit substantially without providing assurances. Increasing awareness among physicians about the importance of high-standard research results is crucial to pressure companies into adhering to more rigorous clinical trials before marketing products. Of course, it's a pleasure to thank Prof Richard Webb and Dr. Eqram Rahman for their amazing, relentless work on this paper. Today is International Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia (CML) Day. CML is characterised by a translocation between chromosomes 9 and 22, which is why 9/22 is recognised as CML Day. It is a cause that has been central to my career—and as a personal coincidence, my initials also happen to be CML! Throughout my career, I have dedicated myself to researching CML. To date, I have published 24 papers, with 12 as First Author and 3 as Senior Author, and my work has been cited 1,879 times. My current research portfolio strikes a balance between translational and basic science research. My particular area of expertise lies in biomarkers predictive of clinical outcomes in CML. One of my most impactful contributions has been the identification of the CIP2A biomarker, which can predict patients likely to have the poorest clinical outcomes at diagnosis. I am excited to join Luminous thought leaders and accomplished semioticians Malcolm Evans, Natasha Delliston, and Yogi H. to present on "Biosemiotics: Methodologically Evolving Applied Semiotics to Account for More Experiences, Deepen Relationships, and Transform Systems." We will discuss the evolution of applied #semiotics to tackle complex health issues while enhancing R&D, product development and commercial strategy in the #lifesciences.
