We all have struggles that are different but we work through them with the same courage , determination & faith as everyone else . Some days you get down & dirty with it. Other days you are grateful for the small reprieve. You are worth the fight , the struggles & the heartaches . Most of us don't know the difference between grief in trauma in this life after suicide loss...is it different? YES!! They are very much different. Grief refers to the sadness we feel after our loss, and it changes over time but will always be there because we will always love and miss them. Trauma refers to the "injury" our brain has experienced & it NOT heal on its own. We have to gain knowledge and take action. Terminating Behaviors: Avoidance becomes a way to cope, as we try to escape situations that bring up painful memories. 4.
