A cyclist on the road is described as a "vehicular cyclist", and is expected to travel within the roadway in accordance with the basic vehicular rules of the road. Vehicular cyclists should feel and act like vehicle drivers, even though they are not riding on the main roadway. To avoid a Fort Lauderdale auto accident or a bicycle accident, be mindful of these rules for cyclists: https://ow.ly/K73j50Sw8Ls #personalinjuryattorney #bicycleaccident #roadsafety

🚗 Sharing the road with cyclists requires extra caution and awareness. Here are some tips from your perspective to ensure the safety of everyone on the road: 1️⃣ Give cyclists space. When passing, leave at least three feet between your vehicle and the cyclist. 2️⃣ Check your blind spots. Always double-check before changing lanes or making turns to avoid cutting off cyclists. 3️⃣ Be patient. Cyclists may not move as fast as vehicles, so exercise patience when sharing the road with them. 4️⃣ Anticipate their movements. Understand that cyclists may need to swerve to avoid obstacles or make sudden stops. Stay alert and give them room to maneuver. 5️⃣ Respect bike lanes. Avoid driving or parking in designated bike lanes, and always yield to cyclists when crossing them. By being mindful of cyclists and following these tips, we can all contribute to safer roads for everyone. Let's share the road responsibly! 🚴♂️ #ShareTheRoad #CyclistSafety #DriveSafe Questions about personal injury, contact Blevins & Hong, P.C. for a free consultation 855-25-WEWIN
