There are many different ways to categorize and sort networks. At the webinar we shared earlier this week our friend Jenna Bannon shared her framework on the three different types of community networks working for social impact. They are: 1️⃣ Cooperating: Networks engaged in cooperation focus on sharing information, working jointly, learning about new ideas and perspectives, and building trust with each other, with little risk to network members. 2️⃣ Coordinating: A coordinating network begins to identify and pursue shared priorities, getting commitments from network members, and developing activities that push boundaries and develop mutual reliance. 3️⃣ Collaborating: A small number of networks begin collaborating fully. This means joining together for systemic reform, having methods for managing conflict, changing thinking about systems, funding, and roles. Which type of network is your coalition or group of partners? #NetworkScience #VisibleNetworkLabs #CommunityNetworks #SystemChange #PARTNERcprm #NetworkScience
