Punching is such a large energetic output, you want to be sure that you're at least somewhere in the ballpark of reality before you launch so that you're not spending all that energy for not enough of a reward. That's a great point. And so when I talk about launch strategy, usually I talk about it in three elements. So there's a launch goal. There's the launch method, the way that we show up and present our offers. And then there's the depending on what the launch goal, if it's a a sales related offer them there's probably a conversion method like where are we primarily making the sale happen. And so when we're talking about launch goals and if it's a first launch, like for the launch we're actually discussing, it was a first launch for this program, this 12 month program that I want it to roll out. And so part of my launch goal in this wasn't necessarily. To make a lot of sales, it was more about collecting the data, collecting the insight, seeing if this launch event was viable and if it was going to produce a potential outcome if there was people interested in things. So I, I did things as part of my e-mail tech too, like pulse check how people were feeling, like, are you interested? Like, you know, we could talk about that elsewhere. But the launch goal has to be realistic. And I have had people come to me and be like, you know, I want to work with you and I want to make 100 sales. I'm like, OK, so how big is your audience? It's like I have zero people. Ohh. Are you like, you know, partnered with anyone? No, I have no partnerships. Do you have an ad budget? No ad budget. I'm like, OK, sorry, but this is not possible. I wish it was because we could all make a ton of money doing this stuff, but unfortunately that's not realistic. And so I like to set very, very realistic expectations with my launcher so that they aren't, you know, expecting. You know, to blow the numbers out of the water or to, you know, to make really to make those $400,000 launches in their first go. Like it's just, it's not possible. It, it does take time, work, effort, learning, remixing, retrying. Like it's, it's experiment, experimenting. Essentially you just have to figure out a way that you can do it in a way you love and enjoy so it doesn't feel heavy or draining every time like I actually. Get excited about watching and I'm excited to do this again, taking into what I've learned already.

In the latest episode of The Hero Show, the conversation took an intriguing turn towards the concept of a common enemy in business, especially when dealing with diverse ventures. The discussion focused on a challenge many entrepreneurs face: the battle between price and value perception among clients.
The guest, Casey Cease, shared insights from his extensive experience across different businesses, highlighting a recurring theme that often acts as a stumbling block for both service providers and clients. The crux of the matter lies in how clients perceive the value of a service or product versus its price. This perspective is crucial because it directly impacts the appreciation of the effort, expertise, and time invested in delivering quality outcomes.
Casey pointed out that understanding the true value of a service, beyond just its monetary cost, is essential. He shared examples from his own business journey, illustrating how educating clients about the value they receive can sometimes be a challenge. This challenge is akin to a superhero's arch-nemesis, constantly requiring innovative strategies to overcome.
The conversation delved into the importance of recognizing the expertise and experience behind a service, which often justifies the price. It's about shifting the focus from how much something costs to how much value it brings to the table.
This episode is a must-listen for entrepreneurs, business owners, and anyone interested in understanding the delicate balance between price and value in the business world. It offers valuable insights into overcoming one of the most common challenges in various industries.

True story from an actual conversation this week.
They reached out for my opinion, and it probably wasn't the feedback they wanted to hear.
To clarify, they are in uncharted territory, and I could absolutely be wrong. But after discussing the data and the external factors affecting their brand, it leaves them with two choices as founders:
1. Stick to the course and figure out how to overcome these roadblocks before they hit them.
2. Pivot now and reassess the market fit for their product.
What do you think?

You know it’s a great partnership when you spend your Friday creating content and laughing your butt off with two entrepreneurs who totally get the ride - the highs and lows of being an entrepenreur and all that it includes.
Very excited to announce that Oh Hello is spnsoring a new podcast as a larger partnership with team Perch Merch out of Lincoln. The podcast is called “The Unscripted Climb” and it’s about showcasing real entrepreneurs who’ve done the dang thing who want to come on the podcast and be unfiltered about what it took to build their business.
In a world where everyone is an “entrepreneur” this show is about really putting the light on the people who’ve actually done it well (and had a ton of bumps along the way) because isn’t that who we want to learn from?
Our agency Oh Hello will be the podcast sponsor working with hosts Michele Mower and Chris Beecham to share these stories. Launch date coming soon!
Also want to point out: the best thing you can do as an entrepreneur is find other businesses to partner with who have a similar target audience as you and want to grow. Team up to create content that’s valuable to the market, refer each other business and you’re basically creating a second sales team for yourself.
That’s what you do to grow and scale and I’m lucky enough to be working with Alexandra Senter who came up with this concept. More on that soon.;)
We’re committed to telling great stories gang. If you’re an entrepreneur whose built a successful business and had to go through hell and back to get there? We want to talk to you.
Our website will be up soon!
