A great trip to Cardiff with Ben Nadel this week to meet with a number of building societies to discuss some important topics for the sector: 👥 Consumer Duty - The building society sector is already very outcome driven (given mutuality and strong member focus), but legacy technology and manual processes can mean that it is often challenging evidencing these outcomes. 🗺 Mapping the modernisation journey - Only by mapping where societies are in the modernisation journey can we identify areas where collaboration and sector-wide solutions can 'lift all boats'. 🛣 Alignment - The importance of understanding whether your ExCo is truly aligned on a single vision before embarking on a modernisation journey.
