Yesterday I attended the CIBSE Building Performance Reimagined conference. It was an inspiring day of talks (including an excellent keynote from CIBSE's President, Fiona Cousins), panel discussions and opportunities to discuss with colleagues on the future of our built environmenta nd our role in it. Many thoughts on what we mean by "performance", how to promote the shift from prescriptive based design to performance based design, and the balance between design/simulation and operation/monitoring, among many others.
