Truth: You don’t need hundreds of rental properties to see great results or be financially secure. 1 property can make a massive difference. 3–10 is a game changer. Many people mistakenly look at real estate investing as replacing their income with cashflow from monthly rents. But if you’re buying SFH or small@multi-family it takes a lot of properties to earn a significant monthly cashflow. However the equity you build and gain from buy and hold is really where you can see the power of how this adds up. When looking at an investment be sure to check the 5 and 10 year assumptions on those equity positions the results might surprise you.
