So, they’re budgeting for the ones who can ACTUALLY get them an ROI. AKA those who: 1. Know their audience data 2. Have an accurate valuation 3. Can engage in discovery without pitching 4. Since sponsorships have real implications for an association’s bottom line, it’s important for groups to consider new ways to work with their sponsors to diversify offerings and deliver on expectations. The truth about sponsorship that will make you cry It’s sad but true. I’ve blasted out my share of sponsorship proposals near and far. I thought that if: - The template was good - We just stuffed the proposal full of smart activations - We had a good cause or mission Then the sponsor would OBVIOUSLY be interested. But that just wasn’t the case. What ended up working is this: - Having a good and accurate valuation - Connecting the right sponsor with the right audience - Proving an ROI. Do that, and you’ll never worry about sponsorship again. The good news is that we can install ALL of these in your sponsorship program.
