As part of our collaborative team, you’ll help us translate complex research findings and activities into accessible, impactful messages for the public, media, and stakeholders. Requirements: • Proven experience and training in communication, with proficiency in content production, science communication, and audience engagement. • Strong organizational and project management skills; experience in project management is a definite advantage. • A fervent passion for marine science and environmental conservation; experience in marine conservation or training in marine sciences is an advantage. • Fluency in both Portuguese and English is essential. • A team player who excels in a collaborative environment and is committed to achieving shared goals. Key Responsibilities: • Plan and develop communication materials (e.g., flyers, brochures, posters, exhibit materials) that convey the essence of our research projects effectively. • Liaise with researchers and project partners to implement joint communication and stakeholder engagement activities. • Organize outreach events and activities for diverse audiences (school communities, stakeholders) in the Algarve region. • Monitor, evaluate, and report on project communication activities, ensuring the timely delivery of milestones. • Support institutional communication activities led by the CCMAR Science Communication Unit.
