Ignazio Cassis receives Slovakia’s foreign minister Bern - Federal Councillor Ignazio Cassis has met with Slovakia's Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, Juraj Blanár. The bilateral relations between the two countries and the political situation in the context of the war in Ukraine were discussed. Ignazio Cassis, Head of the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA), has received his Slovak counterpart, Juraj Blanár. Discussions involved the bilateral relations between the two countries. Switzerland supports selected EU states with various projects, including Slovakia with 44.2 million Swiss francs. Federal Councillor Cassis commented in a press release: The ways in which we work together in the areas of healthcare, sustainable tourism and vocational training strengthen our relations and contribute to cohesion and stability in Europe.
