This week we've launched a three-month trial partnership with Grounded Therapy, an innovative digital mental health platform designed by qualified psychotherapists. 🧠 This initiative aims to provide enhanced mental health and wellbeing support exclusively for our funeral colleagues, who work in unique and emotionally demanding roles. The partnership was developed with valuable input from funeral colleagues and our Wellbeing Champions to ensure it directly addresses the challenges faced by those in these roles. Earlier this year, we launched our We’ve Got You campaign, which focuses on making wellbeing support accessible when colleagues need it most. Grounded is the latest initiative under this banner, reflecting Central Co-op’s commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive workplace. #MentalHealth #Therapy #FuneralIndustry #MentalHealthMatters

Today on #WorldMentalHealthDay, we focused on raising awareness around important mental health topics and shared valuable resources with our teams, including the stress container tool and wellness action plans. These simple yet powerful tools help identify and manage workplace stress, fostering a healthier and more supportive environment for everyone. At Neptune, supporting mental health means taking real action. Our dedicated team of mental health first aiders and champions worked together to spark open conversations and offer support across the business. These efforts reflect our ongoing commitment to prioritising mental health in the workplace, creating an environment where everyone feels heard, supported, and free from any stigma if they need to raise a hand and say they aren’t feeling okay. #PrioritiseMentalHealth #WorkplaceWellbeing #MentalHealthMatters #TeamNeptune #WorldMentalHealthDay2024

Willing to invest a few minutes to deepen your relationship with nature and improve your health & wellbeing? Here's some evidenced ideas from University of Derby 💚
As part of our handbook for nature-connected organisations, we put together a collection of five nature connection practices. Each practice only takes a few minutes a day, and is designed to promote wellbeing and a closer relationship with the rest of nature. The practices can be done by individuals, or as part of workplace initiatives to support staff wellbeing and nature connectedness. Share the practices with your team this mental health awareness week, and start conversations about the nature you notice and enjoy, and how you feel when you make moments with nature. https://bit.ly/ncpractices

Puppies at work - can it get better than this? To wrap up Mental Health and Wellbeing week, PA colleagues in London took some time to unwind with some furry friends. It reminded me how powerful simple moments can be for our mental health: stroking or spending time with a pet, talking to a stranger on a walk, or really listening to colleagues at work. The power of kindness and showing a genuine interest can not be underestimated. Random acts of kindness all add up to build a safe and resilient culture Simple moments can be really powerful for the mind, and help us into doing our best work. Keep checking in with one another as we shape workplaces that prioritise wellbeing. #MentalHealthMatters #Wellbeing #LifeatPA #MentalHealthWeek

From a recent team meeting - "What!? I didn't even know we had that benefit..." Seriously, ask a friend about their benefits and it might even be an inconvenience for them to remember their login password. Communication does not necessarily = behavior... So to me its about finding better ways in benefits design for all the hard-work done behind the scenes to be reinforced from a variety of angles so that theres engagement, and true value behind the benefits/HR leadership teams investment in the first place. This is just what comes to mind when thinking about this webinar coming up around healthcare navigation & practical benefits strategies.

My besties and coaching clients know this about me...I always emphasises the importance of self-care and wellbeing. "Mental Health Awareness Month", is observed every October, highlighting the importance of mental well-being and ways to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health issues. This month encourages individuals to recognise the early signs of mental health struggles, seek help when needed, and support others on their journey. Are you feeling the year end fatique? This month is a reminder to:- 1. prioritise self-care, 2. cultivate resilience, and 3. foster open conversations about mental health in both personal and professional spaces (I encourage and facilitate workplace dialogues) contributing to healthier, more supportive communities for all. What is your company / organisation doing throughout the year to support and encourage employee wellbeing? #Mentalhealthmonth #WellbeingCoaching #Selfcare #CoachLindiweMsiza #NavigatingTransitions #Challenger4Change
