here's a sample of what happened to me today... ""....Thank you for applying to the Bilingual Chiropractic Assistant/Therapist position at (XYZ clinic). Unfortunately, (XYZ clinic) has moved to the next step in their hiring process, and your application was not selected at this time....."" was my application even looked at for consideration/review or was it just placed in an "other pile"? Did it come in 51st place applicant out of 50, was it placed in a raffle and I didn't get selected? Transparency and a more specific reason would be nice but that's too much to ask. What was the next step in the hiring process?? Things like this is what discourages people from applying online, filling out applications with the same questions/history, sometimes twice, uploading resumes/cover letters, applying on company website etc... applied a week ago but glad they at least got back with a response where so many others do not. and yes, Hablo Espanol. what do y'all think? 🤔

I'm hiring one Advocate with a PQE of 0 to 3 years for GSK Associates, Advocates on a full-time association basis. The interviewee must be aware of Dishonour of Cheque provisions, Consumer Protection Act, 2019, Transfer of Property Act, 1882, Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, IPC, and the procedural laws as applicable to the State of Telangana as I have ongoing cases/expected cases pertaining to these Acts. The interviewee must be a law graduate (NLU or Non-NLU), and should have enrolled with a State Bar Council as an Advocate and should be willing to appear for the AIBE and endeavour to pass it or should have already passed the AIBE. The interviewee must also possess a computer resource (laptop) with licensed softwares and the said computer resource (laptop) must not be used for any unlawful or illegal purposes. The consideration will be 25% of any fees received by GSK Associates, Advocates (including consultation charges) in new matters. Well, we believe they are, and we are proud to know that the ladies within World Vision are simply amazing at what they do. #StaffSpotlight Meet Chrissy Mbewe Sitima, the District Programs Manager for Machinga District. Chrissy joined the #orangebrand in 2017 as a Maternal and Child Health Coordinator for the southern region operations. In 2022, the trained child health registered nurse changed roles and took up a new challenge as the District Programs Manager. 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸 𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒎𝒂𝒌𝒆𝒔 𝑪𝒉𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒔𝒚 𝒕𝒉𝒓𝒊𝒗𝒆? It goes without saying that I love my job; it is quite challenging yes but I think it is also fulfilling. I oversee and lead others towards achieving the ministry’s goals, and building such a successful, cohesive and collaborative team is not easy, but it is definitely possible. It is wonderful to see the peole you are leading excel in their different roles. To add, I have an amazing team in Machinga. 𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒊𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒎𝒐𝒔𝒕 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒈𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒌? Deadlines! That part is the most challenging; meeting many deadlines, balancing work and family roles can be a feat. However, weekly planning and time management have proven to be effective in my daily work. I learned to leave office work on Friday and resume on Monday unless it is an emergency. 𝑺𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒖𝒔 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒎𝒐𝒔𝒕 𝒎𝒆𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆 𝒎𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕. Earlier when I had just joined World Vision, I travelled to one of the field offices where we supported a child who was malnourished, fortunately, she got better through rehabilitation. The child is now in Standard 3 and I keep checking up on her progress. This part; this is why I love this job. It brings me joy knowing that every action has the potential to change someone’s life completely. ##HiddenHeroes | #StaffSpotlight | #WeAreWorldVision

If you are an athletic trainer at any point in your career & are tired of not being over worked & under paid, have no work life harmony, or are just plain burnt out, take a look at the industrial setting!! The leadership of the NATA has done a huge injustice to its membership by not promoting, pushing, & making its members aware of all the benefits of this setting. There is a VITAL need for our services in these places. For too long we have been blinded by the care of children. Calling for an AT in every high school is an unrealistic pipe dream. Leaving our salaries in the hands of administrators who truly have no clue what we are capable of as allied highly trained medical professionals hoping that salary surveys will change it is the definition of insanity. The parents of these children who are working in industries across the nation are being chewed up & spit out. It’s time for the NATA & its membership to focus on an area of need that can put an end to useless & meaningless salary surveys & 100 hour work weeks.
