Developing kindness is a crucial part of a student's emotional growth. By teaching students how to be kind, we help them form stronger relationships, improve self-esteem, and develop empathy for others. Hey all! Did you know...🤔 Plush toys are much more than soft, cuddly companions; they offer numerous benefits for both children and adults. These toys provide emotional comfort and security, helping alleviate stress and anxiety, particularly for children who use them as confidants. 🐨 They are valuable developmental aids, enhancing social skills, language, and emotional intelligence through role-playing, which fosters empathy and problem-solving. Educational plush toys make learning fun by teaching basic concepts with interactive elements. 🐨 They also promote nurturing skills, encouraging children to care for their toys, thus building responsibility and compassion. Safe due to their soft, simple construction, plush toys also serve as decorative items, adding warmth to any space. 🐨 Moreover, they often become treasured keepsakes that evoke nostalgic memories of childhood. Overall, plush toys are enriching companions that offer comfort, education, and cherished memories. 🐨 Thank you in advance for believing and donating! 🐨 #plushtoys #plushiecommunity #toys #kobe #stuffedanimals #ComfortAndWellness #comfort #connection #children #soothingmusic #learning #reading #donate #donatetoday #supportsmallbusinessowners #supportlocalbusiness #support #giveachildatoy #everylittlebithelps #donationsneeded #donationsappreciated #donationswelcome #donationsmakeadifference #donations #ineedyou #MakeADifference #makeadifferencetoday

Tandem (Tandem, Partners in Early Learning, a fantastic organization based in the San Francisco Bay Area) works to give kids a great start to learning, focusing on children ages 0-5 (the sooner you can start learning, the better your life’s outcomes). Apparently, MacKenzie Scott endorses Tandem’s approach and execution: Scott’s philanthropic organization just granted $2 million to Tandem, a whopping grant. If you believe in children, if you believe in education, I encourage you to support Tandem with your money, or your time, or your re-posting of Savitha’s announcement below. Or, find an organization near you that focuses on children and figure out how to support them. Even one hour a year is helpful. Seriously. Go try it. (Way to go, Tandem!)
Tandem, Partners in Early Learning is extremely excited to share that we’ve received a $2 million gift from the Yield Giving Open Call! The #YieldGivingOpenCall – managed by Lever for Change – focused on elevating organizations working with people and in places experiencing the greatest need in the United States. Tandem does just that by building a society of supportive children's development by partnering with families and educators to co-create interactive learning experiences paired with books reflective of diverse cultures. This gift is a testament to our partnerships with families, educators, and community organizations, and would not be possible without your support. Reading changes everything. At LearnUp, we teach struggling readers—including students with or without a diagnosis of dyslexia—to read at grade level or beyond in about half the time of most other programs. This #GivingTuesday, we’re asking for your help to raise $15,000 to give 10 students in underserved communities the chance to gain the confidence and skills they need to succeed. Every dollar you give helps provide high-quality, research-based tutoring that turns reading struggles into stories of success. Let's write more success stories for LearnUp students. Help us reach this goal by donating today!

It's #GivingTuesday! For families who cannot afford high school tuition, paying for field trips in Belize or abroad is out of the question. But retreats, field trips and summer trips to other countries help students decide who they want to be and what they want to do with their lives. This Giving Tuesday, we are raising money for our Leadership+ students to immerse themselves in learning opportunities outside the classroom. Money is the only roadblock these bright and curious students have in their educational journey; we want to clear the path for them and we need your help to do that. Please consider a monthly gift of $25 that will give access to ongoing extra-curricular opportunities like our STEAM programs, collaborations with colleges like Michigan State University, Youth Theology Network experiences in Boston and local trips that help students imagine what's possible for them professionally and how they might reach their God-given potential. You probably won't miss $25/month; these students won't ever forget it. https://lnkd.in/d64P2saC

Do you remember those excursions you took in primary school? How about when you had someone come in an speak to you about mental health? Remember the fun you had and how much you learned. Now imagine not being able to have this chance because the school can’t afford to send you. It's really important to have these experiences throughout school but lots of schools aren’t as lucky to be able to afford to run these programs on their own. With your help we can give these students the chance to have these experiences. Every dollar helps students get experiences they wouldn’t get just because of where they live. Right now all donations are doubled. For $30 you can ensure a student can attend an excursion, for $45 you can ensure 6 children get to attend an in-school session on wellbeing, for $400 you can pay fund half the cost of transport for a whole class. Donate now to double your impact. Donate at https://lnkd.in/g2nyQT-d
