Finally, a reliable source elucidated the reason behind the false Air-Bone Gaps in these frequencies, which happened occasionally and caused confusions. Calibration with A-weighting. 250 Hz could be solved with the Rinne test. What is the solution about 4 KHz?

Let's see how good LinkedIn is for finding a needle in a haystack... Auracast is going to revolutionise audio device interoperability. Most people will listen using consumer earbuds or headphones. Hearing aids will support it too, but replacement cycles and NHS purchasing mean it could be another 10 years before the majority of people with hearing loss get to join the party. A tiny, battery-powered, Auracast receiver with a headphone jack would allow a hearing aid user to plug in a neck loop and listen using the telecoil in their hearing aid.
