Over the last few months a few #SEBI #AIF Funds in the pre-angel and post-angel investment thesis. Very funnily, these fund managers have no investing experience except a few seed funding rounds of #startups. Now they expect me to #partner with them and invest into their fund and also mentor and grow their investment portfolio including opening up my investors from my funds to ensure that there is funding for their investments. For that they would like to charge me 2/20. Now the issue is 1. Put in heavy weight lifting for their dud investments? 2. Ensure their investment exits as they also want tag along drag along rights? 3. Allow them management rights with no control or say in their investments Why should I put my money into such funds for 2/20 and then also lead the investments and grow their seed stage investments without share of their upsides in future rounds ? Some #startup #investments #jhumla in the name of partnership!

LC Nueva Investment Partners, a collaboration between Singapore’s Lighthouse Canton and Delhi-based Nueva Capital, has introduced LC Nueva Momentum Fund.
