Good to see WHO focus on the big things in life that affect public health with simple pragmatic solutions that work and deliver huge impact globally. High blood pressure being one of the most important and most treatable. Simple and pragmatic approaches are the answer but in many countries with more advanced health care systems remain too complex, over-engineered and too doctor centric for the majority of patients.

This #EarthDay it's good to see the World Economic Forum focus on the impact of a changing climate on human health. This chart focuses on the impact of droughts and related health outcomes. #ClimateHealth is #PublicHealth, and while we do all we can to mitigate the impact we must continue to invest in public health. As the climate warms, our fragile public health systems will be even more important to protect the health of humans - infectious diseases, safe water, clean air, safe and nutritious food to eat. #WeAreNCPublicHealth https://lnkd.in/ePjUMiCj.
