Support Students 🤝 Donate School Supplies On Aug. 19, nearly 25,000 Springfield Public Schools students will come to school eager to learn. However, not all of them will have the supplies they need due to lack of resources. To help support students and their families, SPS is launching Ready. Set. Supply!, its annual campaign to collect school supply donations so all SPS students can start the school year off right. "A new school year is an exciting time for students but it can also be costly for families, especially those with multiple school-aged children," explained Jessica Blake, coordinator of community relations. "We want to help fill those gaps and make sure every student has the necessary supplies to be success ready." Community members and organizations can help by donating school supplies or making financial contributions. Visit sps.org/readysetsupply for list of needed supplies and a link to donate. 🔗sps.org/readysetsupply

The way to lead with actions not just words.
Austin Bank's allegiance to the communities it serves continues to manifest itself through contributions in direct support of local education, the arts, literacy, health and housing needs as well as countless hours of volunteer service given by Austin Bank employees. B.E. Blessed is a non-profit organization in the Conroe area with the mission of providing school supplies, hygiene kits, and other essentials to low-income students throughout their community. Baily (pictured center) was 6 years old when she realized that not all of her classmates had their own crayons. This inspired her to create B.E. Blessed to provide underprivileged students with the supplies they need to succeed. Since the organization made it's first donation in 2006, they've raised over $230,000 and provided school supplies to over 2,900 students. We are proud to support Baily and B.E. Blessed in their mission to improve the educational outcomes of students throughout the Conroe community and beyond. #WithYouForGood #BEBlessed #ConroeTX

Yea, today is the day where we are overwhelmed with appeals from organizations. It is an important day. But, supporting an organization, or a cause, is not just about what you give today, its about building better. A few days ago I re-posted an idea to rebrand non-profit organizations as social-profit organizations. This concept is ringing louder to me every day. The work of non-profit organizations- the staff, the funders, the beneficiaries-- is to create a better something: human, community, system, etc. Our society depends on these organizations. So, I encourage you to make a donation today and/or in the next couple of weeks. You have a lot of options and, personally, I would ask you to consider supporting, Foster Progress. With your support we empower more foster youth to beat the odds and succeed in higher education. Your donation helps provide: 📚 Scholarships for tuition and books 🤝 Mentors to guide students through challenges 🏫 Advocacy to navigate college systems You can donate here: https://lnkd.in/g4mzzANh

What is the role of schools? Is it simply to educate, prepare students for exams, and ensure university placements? At AIS, we believe it’s so much more. Schools should inspire students to be compassionate global citizens, approach the world with curiosity, and ask themselves, How can I make a difference? As Nelson Mandela said, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” True education doesn’t just teach—it nurtures values, builds character, and empowers students to contribute meaningfully to society. Working with Barbara Lee and her incredible mission at Child at Street 11 Ltd has been a humbling reminder of the transformative power of education. Barbara’s dedication to giving every child an opportunity to thrive and break the cycle of disadvantage is awe-inspiring. Seeing this aligns deeply with what we strive for at AIS: fostering an education that nurtures Respect, Opportunity, and Achievement for every child. A special thank you to Trent Green for leading this initiative, Farhana Suhaimi for quickly pulling together a powerful video, and our amazing Elementary School student leaders for embodying our core values: Respect: Celebrating diversity and the unique potential of every child. Opportunity: Offering avenues for growth and supporting communities through meaningful actions. Achievement: Making a tangible impact through compassion and leadership. As I witness the incredible work of our AIS teachers, I can only hope that the children at Child at Street 11 receive the same opportunity for an education that sets them on the right path. Charity begins at home, but its ripple effects can reach far beyond. Together, we can make a difference. 🌍 #EducationForChange #GlobalCitizens #AISRespectOpportunityAchievement

Together, let’s bring joy and spark creativity with every gift of art supplies we collect! 🗓️ When: November 11 - December 5 Let’s spread festive cheer and support the children at Child at Street 11 this holiday season! #WeAreAIS #AustralianInternationalSchool #FestiveGiving #StudentLeaders

Please give a little and help me and my colleagues at Sage make a real difference to the kids at Tullygally Primary School! 🙏🏻 If you can, please donate. Every £ will get us a step closer to having a huge impact on their future. Giving them computer skills at an early age is like giving them a passport to the world! Over 92% of jobs need digital skills and computer literacy. The ability to understand and use technology is no longer an optional skill. It is already a fundamental necessity. For the younger generation, computers and digital technology are their natural environment. Computer literacy extends far beyond being able to surf the internet or play video games. It includes understanding the operation of a computer and even early programming skills. This breadth of knowledge opens possibilities for creativity, collaboration, and exploration. It’s like equipping children with a passport to the world. This is where educational computers for kids serve as a versatile tool. It helps shape their learning experiences. Help us make a difference! I'm excited to share that Joanne Gilson, Lydia Hall and I, through Sage Foundation, are honoured to join Tullygally Primary School to support an initiative to enhance pupil education and foster community connections. Every donation will pave the way to brighter futures for these children. Join us in supporting our fundraiser to rebuild their Computer Suite putting essential tech back in the hands of their children, crucial for children's ICT skills development. The event is a family-sponsored walk, fun run, and a community Spring Concert on March 28th starring the talented pupils, bringing together home, school, and the community. We are overjoyed to see that the children of Thundersley Primary School are enjoying their new IT equipment! Initially, pupils had to share their computers as the school didn’t have enough for a full class. Thanks to your generous donations, we were able to provide over 100 laptops to their IT suite. Thundersley’s students can now be online together, meaning that more can be accomplished in their lessons. The Primary School’s Deputy Headteacher, Steve Mackay, told us that in addition to their PCs, the children’s new touch-screen laptops offer all the resources needed to support their lessons compared to their old Chromebook’s. To help us continue to improve children’s education, consider donating your used devices to Every Child Online through our website: https://lnkd.in/gXGH8nj Together, we close the digital divide. #everychildonline #itfullcircle #passiton #DigitalPoverty #DigitalInclusion #SocialValue #SocialImpact #EqualOpportunities #EducationEquality #InternetForAll #DigitalAccess #DigitalLiteracy #ClosingTheGap #digitaldivide #digitalisolation #sustainability #ESG #itad #environment #laptops #PCs #schools #charities #ewaste #recycleit #circulareconomy #learning #education #children #tech4good #Repurpose #Education #Reuse #Recycle Our supporting partners: Essex Ford, Allen Motor Group, #EssexFord #EssexFordTransitCentre #AllenFord Kennedys law, Sunrise Technologies Ltd, Essex Community Foundation.

The lazy days of summer are coming to a close, and we’re now entering National Back to School Month! 📚✏️ This time of the year can be both exciting and stressful. There’s a lot to coordinate: purchasing supplies, signing up for afterschool activities, and simply readjusting schedules. But there’s no doubt that education is one of the greatest investments we can make in our children’s futures. Helping families with financial strategies to fund educational goals is one of the most rewarding parts of our jobs. It is also so fulfilling to support education in our communities during this time of the year through donations. What community events do you participate in to help everyone as they go back to school? #BackToSchoolMonth #InvestInEducation #BrightFutures

Tandem (Tandem, Partners in Early Learning, a fantastic organization based in the San Francisco Bay Area) works to give kids a great start to learning, focusing on children ages 0-5 (the sooner you can start learning, the better your life’s outcomes). Apparently, MacKenzie Scott endorses Tandem’s approach and execution: Scott’s philanthropic organization just granted $2 million to Tandem, a whopping grant. If you believe in children, if you believe in education, I encourage you to support Tandem with your money, or your time, or your re-posting of Savitha’s announcement below. Or, find an organization near you that focuses on children and figure out how to support them. Even one hour a year is helpful. Seriously. Go try it. (Way to go, Tandem!)
Tandem, Partners in Early Learning is extremely excited to share that we’ve received a $2 million gift from the Yield Giving Open Call! The #YieldGivingOpenCall – managed by Lever for Change – focused on elevating organizations working with people and in places experiencing the greatest need in the United States. Tandem does just that by building a society of supportive children's development by partnering with families and educators to co-create interactive learning experiences paired with books reflective of diverse cultures. This gift is a testament to our partnerships with families, educators, and community organizations, and would not be possible without your support.
