So glad to be back at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology for a quick visit and see my good friends from the MIT Center for Transportation & Logistics. My very special thanks to Matthias Winkenbach, the new Diretor of Research at MIT/CTL, for organizing a fantastic seminar on the current projects of the brand new Inteligent Logistics Systems ILS Lab. I could witness some cutting edge research on supply chain design under uncertainty, the impact of Generative AI in supply chain decision making, autonomous mobile robots in warehouse operations, and distributed order management in e-commerce. My appreciation to the great ILS team: Selene Silvestri, Austin Saragih, Thorsten Greil, Rachel Lin, Willem Guter, Sarah Schaumann, and Bolanie Oladeji.
